Between Jan 1st and Dec 31st 2017 there were 596 hours with precipitation in Vienna, out of 365 days x 24 hours = 7% risk of precipitation during a one-hour bike trip, or, in other words, a 93% probability of rain-free cycling during a one-hour bike trip. As a comparison: 2016 and 2015 also showed a 93% probability of rain-free cycling. The year 2014 showed a probability of 92%, 2013 a probability of 91%, and 2012 again a probability of 92%.
